81 DAYS UNTIL RESIDENT CAMP!
The answer is, of course!
Y member or not, the Treasure Valley Family YMCA’s resident camp at Horsethief Reservoir, a resplendent 408-acre facility in Valley County, is open to anyone.
And right now, all first-time campers (non-members and members) who register by April 9 will be entered into a drawing for a camp survival pack!
The winner of the survival pack, which includes a backpack, sleeping bag, water bottle, beach towel, T-shirt and other goodies, will be drawn at the Y Camp Open House (10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at Camel’s Back Park, 1200 W. Heron St., Boise). You don’t have to be present to win, but we’d sure love to see you there!
If you’re interested in making new friends, swimming, hiking, arts and crafts, rock climbing, fishing and lots more excitement in the great outdoors, join us at the Open House and learn how all this and more is part of a week at Y Camp! First-timers can register at the Open House and still be eligible to win the survival pack.
We have a fun morning planned for families at the Open House, including arts and crafts, camp games and meet-and-greets with our amazing staff. If you’ve already registered for camp, you’re invited to come join the fun and meet this summer’s counselors! Registered campers who refer a first-time camper save money on their tuition (10 percent off for each first-time camper referral; up to 50 percent), so bring your friends!
Register for Y Camp online at ycampidaho.org, via snail mail or in person at your local Y branch. (Paper registration forms are available for download online or at the Y.) Financial assistance is available to qualifying members and non-members.
In addition to registration info, the Y Camp website features full descriptions of all of our resident camps.
